Rivers, Lochs And Glens
The River Garry passes by the front of the hotel down through the glen through the Pass of Killiecrankie. Enjoy an abundance of hiking trails when you step through the West Drive Castle gates and onto the Atholl Estate.
You’ll find way marked trails to suit all abilities.
Mountains, Munros and Hikes
Look North from The Old Manse of Blair and you’ll see the majestic Monadhliadh Mountains and Ben Alder. Perfect for that sunset dram in the garden pavilion.
A drive down to Kinloch Rannoch and you could adventure up Schehallion, The Fairy Hill of the Caledonians. It is an approximate 20min drive to the suggest starting route to climb this mountain. Go prepared for the boulders and enjoy the spectacular view when you reach the summit and tick a Munro of your list!
Beinn a' Ghlò has three Munro summits for those climbers looking for a longer challenging hiking day. The summits may be rounded, but the steep descents, rough ground and boggy terrain between the paths sure make for a hiking achievement.
