A five-star exclusive-use country house in the heart of Highland Perthshire, The Old Manse of Blair combines traditional elegance with modern luxury. Large rooms and high ceilings reflect the character architecture of it’s Regency origins, while contemporary design ensues comfort and indulgence. Recently refurbished by it’s new owners, The Old Manse of Blair accommodates up to 14 people in en-suite bedrooms. Generous public rooms create a welcome entertaining buzz and cosy private nooks offer the chance for a get-away-from-it-all retreat.
From it’s gated entrance, follow the sweeping driveway to arrive at The Old Manse of Blair. Take in spectacular views across the paddocks to the magnificent Perthshire landscape. Then step through the Georgian doorway and make yourself at home.
A bespoke table made by local craftsmen, from a very special Scottish Oak tree which fell in Diana’s grove at nearby Blair Castle, is the centre piece of this special room. A fine setting for a feast, this fabulous dining room accommodating 16 guests, makes a perfect atmospheric backdrop for that special celebratory event, corporate board meeting or private dining experience.
You’ll find a specially commissioned portrait of Robert Burns at the head of the table, together with a verse from the poem, Patriotism, Burns penned at the nearby Falls of Bruar in 1787 linking the heritage of the area.
